Luhkta

The luhkta are one of two races that were created as byproducts of a mages experiments long ago. The luhkta are an all female race that are a blend of hyur and unicorn characteristics. Like the hyur, the luhkta have two arms and legs, and walk upright, though their fingers are lacking a joint that gives hyur such dexterity. The luhkta's feet also end in sharp cloven hooves that hurt quite a bit if they kick someone, and they have a long and elegant tail that ends with hairs the same color as the hair on their heads. All luhkta stand between 5'6" to 6'4", and when they mate with a hyur, nord, elf, or miqo'te, the result is always a luhkta, though the child will have some characteristics of the father race.

Luhkta have a generally uniform appearance, a small spiraling golden horn from the center of their foreheads, their hooves are of the same coloring, their hair can go from platinum blonde to a dark black, and their eyes vary from pale to dark blues, greens, and purples. Their skin color rarely has any variance, often always the soft tan that all are known to have. A few have been known to have snowy white skin.

Culturally the luhkta are unable to form a culture of their own, since being an all female race that was created, they have to live among the hyur, nord, elves, and miqo'te, so adopt the culture of whatever nation they live in. Tempermentally, the luhkta tend to be submissive and looking to others for guidance. This, coupled with strong empathy and powerful healing magics have made the luhkta unable to have warriors of their own, all choosing the healing arts. Many also become sclabhai, finding the position of being owned and guided by someone comforting, as well as knowing that they and whatever children they bear will be well taken care of.
