Age of Iron

The Miqo'te are a race that is even younger than the hyur, originating from the small island of Tlyihl Archipelago.  They are a highly agile and quick race with quick wits, and sharp eyes that can see equally well in the day or night.  Primarily seafarers, they were discovered only five years ago and had not been affected by the war with the Dark Lord.  Now the Miqo`te have begun spreading into Aslane, most joining the Adventurer's Guild for the excitement and wealth that can be accumulated.  Others have begun making themselves useful in other areas, such as tailoring, leatherworking, and even politics.  Some have even found a place in the ciminal underground of many cities, their agility, dexterity, and intelligence making them excellent rogues.  Others find themselves well suited to being rangers, finding common cause with many tameable animals.

 

Miqo'te can be identified in one of two types, depending on the time of day they prefer.  Seekers of the Sun have lighter hair, skin and eye colors from their Seeker of the Moon cousins, and often prefer being mages or rangers, and have a honor code that makes them prefer to obey and uphold the laws rather than break them.

 

Seekers of the Moon on the otherhand prefer the shadows of the night, and revel as rogues, and often can be found as crewmembers for pirates.  They also tend to prefer the magical arts, since the magical arts can offer them solitude and privacy.

 

All miqo'te have similar builds, hair, and skin colors depending on which type they are.  With the Seekers of the Sun, they can have pale to tan skin, light to medium colored hair, and bright colorful eyes.  Seekers of the Moon tend to be darker in coloring, and all miqo'te males stand between 4'7" to 5'7", and the females between 4'5" to 5'5".
